MineAPI Terms of Service

The agreement governing your use of the MineAPI developer API.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you (the "Customer") and Sevda Meriç Çölgeçen, trading as Mine Code Craft ("we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the MineAPI service, including the API, the customer portal and the documentation (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, generating an API key, or calling the API, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MineAPI is a developer API that returns astronomy and astrology calculations — moon phases, eclipses, planetary positions, charts, lunar mansions, planetary hours and related data — as structured JSON. The Service is offered on a subscription basis with usage quotas and rate limits that depend on the selected plan. Endpoints, response fields and limits may evolve as the Service develops.

2. Accounts & API Keys

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • Your API keys are secret. You are responsible for keeping them confidential and for all activity that occurs under your keys.
  • Notify us promptly at info@minecodecraft.com if you believe a key has been compromised. You can rotate or revoke keys at any time from the portal.
  • One account is intended for one customer/organisation. Do not share credentials with third parties.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Exceed, evade or circumvent the rate limits, quotas or access controls of your plan.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive or abusive purpose, or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Resell, redistribute or expose the raw API responses as a competing or substantially similar API service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure, or to disrupt or overload it.

You may use MineAPI data within your own applications and products. Reasonable attribution ("Powered by MineAPI") is appreciated but not required.

4. Plans, Billing & Cancellation

  • The Service is offered on a free plan and two paid plans, MineAPI Pro and MineAPI Business. Current plan prices, request quotas and rate limits are published on the MineAPI page (minecodecraft.com/mineapi) and shown in the customer portal. FastSpring presents the final order details before a paid purchase is completed.
  • Paid plans are sold and billed monthly by FastSpring, our Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. FastSpring is the legal seller for the transaction and handles checkout, payment processing and invoicing. Each purchase is subject to the buyer terms presented by FastSpring during checkout; these Terms govern your use of MineAPI.
  • Free-plan access is provided through the customer portal. After FastSpring confirms a successful payment, the corresponding paid plan is made available to the MineAPI account linked to the purchase.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time using the subscription-management method made available with your order or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues until that date.
  • Prices on the MineAPI page are stated in US dollars. FastSpring calculates and displays any applicable transaction taxes and the final total during checkout before the order is placed.
  • Each MineAPI account is eligible for a 14-day refund once only, on its first paid-plan purchase. Plan upgrades, plan changes and new subscriptions on the same account do not create or restart that period. Renewal charges are non-refundable, except for duplicate charges, a confirmed serious service failure, or where mandatory law requires otherwise. When the subscription purchase itself is refunded in full, paid access ends immediately and the subscription is cancelled.   • Repeated abuse or non-payment may result in suspension of the Service.

5. Data Disclaimer — Important

The astronomical and astrological data returned by MineAPI is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Although we use established calculation methods, we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for any particular purpose of any result.

Astrological output is not professional advice of any kind — it is not medical, psychological, financial, legal or safety advice. You must not rely on MineAPI data as the basis for important decisions, and you are solely responsible for how you and your end users use it.

6. Availability & Service Levels

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates or circumstances beyond our control. No specific uptime or service-level commitment is made unless agreed separately in writing.

7. Changes, Suspension & Termination

We may add, change, deprecate or remove endpoints and features, and will make reasonable efforts to communicate breaking changes. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, abuse, security risk or non-payment. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service — including the API, software, documentation and the compilation and presentation of its data — is the property of Mine Code Craft or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per your plan. Your applications and your own data remain yours.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mine Code Craft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Mine Code Craft harmless from any claim, liability, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your applications and end users. You are solely responsible for your own products and for the privacy, consent and conduct of your end users.

11. Privacy

Our handling of personal data in connection with the Service is described in the MineAPI Privacy Policy.

Billing, cancellation and refund requests are also governed by the MineAPI Refund Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where reasonable. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the courts of Türkiye, except where mandatory consumer-protection or jurisdiction rules provide otherwise. This section governs use of MineAPI and does not replace the terms governing your purchase from FastSpring.
